Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her partner, actress Portia de Rossi, are hoping to cash in on the California estate they bought last year, after putting it on the market for $24 million. The couple paid $15.75 million for the four-acre property six months ago, according to the Wall Street Journal. The four-bedroom Montecito home features a wine cellar, library and an art studio, while the estate includes two guest cottages, a tennis court, a pool and spa.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are getting married in June, it has been claimed. Ellen was allegedly confronted by Portia about their future plans after Ellen had finished hosting the Oscars. Former 'Ally McBeal' star Portia is said to have quizzed her long-term partner about her marriage intentions and forced her to set a date. A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Portia demanded that Ellen marry her. After lots of talk and plenty of hints, Portia finally confronted Ellen right after the Oscars about making a commitment."The couple are now planning a lavish ceremony for friends and family at their California home in June, when Ellen's chat show is off air.The source added: "Ellen's hiatus starts at the end of May, and her show doesn't start up again until August."That gives Ellen some much-needed time with her new bride. They're still discussing a honeymoon location, but at this point Portia would just be happy at home enjoying their estate."Ellen is very happy too. All her dreams are coming true."

Jodi Foster , Queen Latifah and John Travolta have been announced as presenters at this year's Oscars.The three stars will join a galaxy of stars, including Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Cate Blanchett, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Kidman, Jack Black and Jennifer Lopez, who will hand over the prestigious accolades at the Los Angeles ceremony on Sunday. Foster has twice won the Best Actress Oscar for her performances in 'The Accused' in 1998 and 'The Silence of the Lambs' in 1991. In 2002, singer-turned-actress Queen Latifah received her first Oscar nomination for her supporting role in 'Chicago'. Travolta has been nominated twice in the Best Actor category for 'Saturday Night Fever' in 1977 and 'Pulp Fiction' in 1994. US comic Ellen DeGeneres will host the event at the city's Kodak Theatre.This year British actresses Dame Judi Dench, Kate Winslet and Dame Helen Mirren have all been nominated for the Best Actress prize. Also in the running are Penelope Cruz and Meryl Streep, whose 'Devil Wears Prada' performance has brought her nominations tally up to 14 - the greatest number for an actress in Oscar history . Mirren's 'The Queen' is up for Best Picture, while the film's director Stephen Frears is also nominated. Musical drama 'Dreamgirls' has eight nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Kate Hudson. Once again, Martin Scorsese is up against Clint Eastwood for Best Director -whom he lost out to in 2004. Both Scorsese's 'The Departed' and Eastwood's 'Letters From Iwo Jima' are also nominated for Best Picture.

Portia told W magazine: "We would like to have children some day. Ellen would carry."Ellen replied: "That will never happen!" Meanwhile, Ellen can't decide what to wear when she presents the Oscars because she has been inundated with outfits. She said: "Everybody's sending me stuff. Gucci sent me this amazing package with all kinds of designs and different kinds of fabrics. They're making me something. Zac Posen sent me a gorgeous tuxedo.
